SINGING SCHOOL

Our singing school offers private or small group lessons (2 students) Students work on vocal technique, proper breathing and microphone and performance skills. They can choose to study the classical method or a mixture of musical theatre songs & pop. It is suggested that parents and students discuss which style they wish to study at the commencement of classes with the teacher. If no preference is given, students will usually study a variety of musical theatre and pop with a grounding in classical technique.

Private singing lessons help a student to improve vocally, eliminating bad habits and reinforcing correct technique. It is important that all students practice at home - vocal warm ups are essential, at least 10 - 15 minutes every second day. As with learning a musical instrument, the rate of improvement will be hindered without regular practice.

We believe it is important for singing students to perform several times a year. All performances are held in a relaxed, supportive environment and the emphasis is on.

To book lessons with our private singing school please contact the office on (03) 9808 3100 to receive the private singing brochure and enrolment information.  Private lessons are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.  Lessons are usually 1/2 hour or an hour in in length.
