Principal: Katie Molan Rappel
After graduating from Victorian
College of the Arts, Katie danced professionally for 12 years, both in
Australia and overseas, before
establishing Crazy Feet Dance Studio in 1992.
The philosophy surrounding the
school is that dance should be accessible to all children and we aim to
give children enjoyment, confidence and co-ordination as well as
professional dance training in a friendly atmosphere.
Crazy Feet offers 2 streams to
cater for all kinds of dance students, allowing everyone to achieve
their goals, whether it be to dance for fun or for a future career in
the industry. Students in each stream have separate classes and
the timetable specifies whether a class is in stream 1 or stream 2.
Stream 1: For the
casual dance student who wants to learn for fun, social or exercise.
Classes available for the stream 1 student include jazz, tap, funk, hip
hop, song & dance, cheerleading and singing lessons.
Stream 2: For the
more serious dance student who may have a long term goal of undertaking
further study or a career in the performing arts industry. All
students in Stream 2 undertake ballet classes and also have the option
of classes in jazz, tap, funk, hip hop, song & dance, contemporary, VCE
dance Cheerleading and singing lessons.
